Aaaahhh...the kitchen remodel. Possibly the homeowner's greatest joy.
Even in the face of such beautiful, green-and-brown marbled countertops, the homeowner will not be deterred.
Or the lovely laminate/carpeted flooring.
And there's always the gorgeous strangely-stained, light-brownish dark-brownish blackish cabinets with fantastic circa 1970 hardware.
Goodbye countertops!
Goodbye, floor!
New wood flooring.
New countertops.

Wow, it looks fantastic! What a difference floors and counters make!? I had to chuckle at the picture of your green marbled counter tops. We had the EXACT same ones in our old house, but they were BLUE. Whenever elderly people visited they would say how much they liked them! Lovely.
But, but, I'm going to miss the lovely green counters....all the memories.
